Stimulus Brings New Jobs and Congressional Districts to Ohio
Print This Post
More than $1.8 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, brought eight jobs to Congressional District 00 in Ohio. The 99th District received $660,000 without creating or saving any jobs. Where is the 99th District? What about District 00? According to the Ohio Secretary of State website there are only 18 districts in Ohio.
But, the most recent state and territory summary for Ohio on www.recovery.gov states otherwise. Congressional District 00 and 99 were two of ten new congressional districts listed as receiving federal stimulus dollars this year. Eight of those districts received money but did not create any jobs.
$5,303,915 has created eleven jobs in the those ten districts in Ohio; costing $482,174.09 for each individual job.

This is what has been going on for the last year. Story telling sessions instead of Congressional sessions. I would not believe a word this administration said if I saw it myself. They think if they move fast enough, everyone will be too confused to see what is really going on. Sort of like a card trick.
